When she’s not busy editing/writing, she’s likely championing the Oxford comma and sipping on overpriced iced lattes.

If there’s one thing Arc Raiders loves, it’s giving you a challenge that sounds simple until you actually try it. The What Goes Around quest is a perfect example. On paper, it’s just ‘destroy an ARC enemy with a Fireball Burner.’ Easy, right? Except first you have to get one, find the right kind of enemy, and actually land the hit before you’re turned into scrap metal.

Here’s everything you need to know about locating and solving the Raider’s Refuge button puzzle in Arc Raiders!

It’s the kind of quest that feels like a small detour but ends up being a full-on firefight. If you’re ready to light things up and collect some satisfying rewards along the way, here’s what you need to know before taking on What Goes Around.

How To Complete The What Goes Around Quest

The What Goes Around quest in Arc Raiders is a task that tests your timing and understanding of how elemental damage works in the game. The goal is straightforward: destroy any ARC enemy using a Fireball Burner. Before you can complete it, though, you’ll need to track down the weapon itself.

How To Get A Fireball Burner

To get a Fireball Burner, you’ll first need to locate and destroy a Fireball ARC. These enemies drop the Burner upon defeat, and we’ve covered how to find them in detail in our Fireball ARC guide.

How To Destroy An ARC Enemy Using A Fireball Burner

Once you’ve secured one, head over to the Dam Battlegrounds. The best area for this objective is either the Control Tower or the Research Administration Building, thanks to its layout and abundance of ground-based enemies.

Flying ARCs can be tricky to hit, so that’s why we recommend focusing instead on Pops or Fireballs roaming on the ground inside buildings.

Equip the Fireball Burner in one of your quick-use inventory slots so you can react quickly in combat. When you encounter an ARC enemy, wait for it to approach, open your quick-use inventory (same button process you’d use to heal), then toss the Fireball Burner onto the ground between you and your target. The explosion should ignite the ARC, and you’ll just need to wait a few moments for the fire to finish the job.

Once the ARC is destroyed, you can safely extract and claim your rewards: a Cans Backpack Attachment cosmetic, three Blaze Grenades, and two Noisemakers.
