There are a lot of materials you will need to survive and progress through the world of Arc Raiders, but none of them is more elusive than the Very Comfortable Pillow. Okay, I am mostly kidding, but the Very Comfortable Pillow is a key item you will need if you want to train your material-gathering chicken, Scrappy.
If you want to help Scrappy live a life of luxury, here’s where to find a Cat Bed in Arc Raiders.
Requiring three of them, along with 12 Mushrooms and Apricots, the Very Comfortable Pillow can be a bit frustrating to find if you don’t know where to look. Here are some of the best and most consistent spots for acquiring this material so you can let Scrappy live in luxury.
Where To Find Very Comfortable Pillows
Classified as both a Commercial and Residential type item, the Very Comfortable Pillow can be located in a number of locations throughout the wasteland. Here are some of the best spots you can find this material:
Grandioso Apartments in Buried City
When it comes to finding the Very Comfortable Pillow, both the Grandioso Apartments and the Village are the most obvious options. Focused on Residential-type items, these two points of interest boast a number of apartments and houses you can scavenge in. Of the two, I have had more luck with Village, both because it’s usually less looted and the Grandioso Apartments are pretty popular for PvP.
That being said, my favorite spot for locating Very Comfortable Pillows is the building just below the Red Tower in Buried City (shown above). A lesser known spot, the apartment building that’s attached to the tower, has a little raider outpost on the top floor. Inside are a bunch of lockers, Security Lockers, and other containers. You can access this space by climbing onto the roof and then going through the blown-out hole in the wall.
Be careful of being on the street around this area, as there is usually either a Bombardier or Leaper patrolling this space!
Honestly, the Plaza Rosa in general is great for finding Very Comfortable Pillows — especially the second and third floors above the pharmacy. There are a ton of dresser drawers you can loot there, and it’s considered Residential so you have a solid chance of locating a Very Comfortable Pillow. You should also make sure to scour all the buildings that form the perimeter of the plaza as they can have a nice assortment of Residental loot and trinkets.

Alternatively, the basement of the Arrival Building on Spaceport has also been fruitful when looking for at least one of these key materials. Specifically, the makeshift medical station is where you will want to go and is accessible via a pair of breachable doors. Usually I am able to find at least one Very Comfortable Pillow here, but it’s not as ideal a place to farm as the other listed locations.
Remember, you will need three of them to upgrade Scrappy so I strongly recommend saving that many as you progress through the game. Otherwise, you are going to be rummaging through the ruins of other people’s homes for quite a bit of time!
