If you’re looking to complete the Expedition Project in Arc Raiders before the due date in December, you’ll need to find at least 20 Sensors to help finish the third step. Thankfully, unlike some other materials, Sensors are a little easier to come by if you know where to look and what to recycle.
Here’s where to locate Advanced Electrical Components for all your crafting needs in Arc Raiders.
Here’s everything you need to know about where to look for sensors and what items you can safely recycle to make some if you are in a pinch. Remember, you’re going to need 20 of these so get ready to start saving them early!
Where To Find Sensors
Classified as a Security and Technological material, Sensors have a higher chance of being found in any place boasting the chevron or microchip icon. Now, that is a lot of places in Arc Raiders, however, not all of them are created equal. Here are my favorite spots for farming Sensors:
Pilgrim’s Peak in The Blue Gate
Of all the points of interest in Arc Raiders, Pilgrim’s Peak is my favorite place for hunting down Sensors. This is due to the large volume of breachable server towers in the basement, which almost always have Sensors as a lootable item. Located in the northeastern corner of The Blue Gate, the isolated nature makes it a much safer spot to loot than a lot of other areas on our list. If you need Sensors, this is the first place I always recommend going.
Coming closely in number two is the Launch Tower on Spaceport. The tower can be found in the dead center of the map, but the two rooms in the tower each have several servers and other machines you can loot. All of these have a good chance of Sensors appearing — especially during Night Raids when this point of interest can be extremely lucrative.
Sticking with Spaceport, the breachable basement in Arrival Building is filled with servers you can loot and is another destination that’s worth checking out if you’re in need of them. However, since it’s only one room, I would recommend going here solo rather than with a squad, so you can look through all the servers yourself and won’t need to share.
Finally, Control Tower in Dam Battlegrounds has a lot of potential, but it’s last on my list due to it being a haven for PvP players. Now if that doesn’t bother you, this point of interest has quite a few spots on the second floor that are great for locating Sensors. It also has the added benefit of being connected to Research and Administration which also has a ton of electronic-themed containers you can loot.
How To Buy And What To Recycle For Sensors
All that said, you can actually just buy Sensors from Celeste if you have enough seeds. Costing 10 seeds a pop, you can purchase a total of 5 a day from her. This is a good place to supplement your runs if you’re just trying to find 20 for the Expedition Project.
As for recycling, here is the list of items you can dismantle to make Sensors:
Broken Handheld Radio
Remember, you should always recycle an item if you can instead of scavenging it in a raid. Unless you need to lose weight, recycling will always net you Sensors and allow you to make use of the random junk you find along your raid. Thankfully, all the items listed are basically useless right now and simply exist to be recycled.

Unfortunately, you cannot actually craft Sensors, but between buying, recycling, and looting you should easily be able to find 20 of them with little issue!
