As far as Christmas Day events are concerned, we know Timothy Chalamet’s Marty Supreme is releasing in movie theaters, the next part of the final season of Stranger Things will drop on Netflix, and, if you fancy yourself a sports fan, then there are two NFL games and a smattering of NBA games.
Well, you can add the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the beloved indie title Stardew Valley to that list, as the one and only ConcernedApe has managed to shadowdrop the long-awaited upgrade on Christmas.
That free part shouldn’t be too surprising, especially given that ConcernedApe had already confirmed the update would be free, or at least as close to free as possible. In Japan, the update has to legally cost something, so the creator promised players he would charge players the smallest possible amount.
Bear in mind that this update’s shadowdrop is particularly surprising, given that just eight days ago ConcernedApe took to social media in response to the delay to share that he’ll “announce something very soon.”
Pokemon Pokopia seems like an easy slam dunk for Nintendo, so why has it taken them so long to make a game like it?
“Another common ConcernedApe W,” one user on Reddit wrote. “Eric is nearing my goat status at this point.”
