Where To Find The Sick Goose
In Qinghe’s Moonveil Mountains, north of Heaven’s Pier and east of the Blissful Retreat, you’ll find a gaggle of goslings along the riverbank. By the bridge here is a sick goose laying on the rocks. As you approach, you’ll have the opportunity to heal the poor thing.
Use your Wind Sense ability to check on the goose and attempt to heal it, though you’ll notice that the recommended mastery is quite high if you’re low level. Nevermind this if you’re looking for the Goose Slayer achievement, as it works in your favor.
How To Spawn The Demon Goose Boss
Eventually, you’ll want to heal the goose, but to get this achievement, you want to fail the healing. The best way to do this is to skip each healing cycle without doing anything additional. Don’t bother trying to get the right prescriptions or defend against ailments, just let things progress naturally and the healing will fail.
Once the healing fails, you’ll only have a few seconds to move. The demon goose will spawn in immediately, and you’ll need to run.
How To Beat The Demon Goose Boss
The demon goose can be very difficult to beat, as it moves quickly and strikes relentlessly. You’ll need to deflect its attacks repeatedly until you can get your footing. Even sprinting away won’t help much, other than buying you a spare second or two.

There are two ways to go about defeating the boss: honestly or easily. While we recommend the latter, the former is for those who want a real challenge.
Demon Goose Boss Strategy
Lure the demon goose towards the water, then use your Tai Chi ability to pick up the goose and throw it into the river. The sick goose will die instantly, earning you the Goose Slayer achievement.
To defeat the Demon Goose, you’ll need upgraded gear and your best martial arts. We’d recommend using flaming arrows to light the Sick Goose up, then use ranged attacks to keep it away. Of course, there’s also the danger that the nearby geese pose, as they will rush in to rescue their friend. No matter how strong you are, never underestimate the power of a swarm of geese.
Retreat over the bridge or climb the rocks to get away if the situation becomes too much.
No matter how you deal with the sick goose in Qinghe, never fear! The goose will respawn so you can complete the quest after a few hours, so you can always come back and heal the sick goose later.

Use tai chi to take all of the geese out before attempting to fight or throw the demon goose, the geese won’t become aggressive so you can deal with them one by one. You just need to quit during the healing instead of skipping turns.
