Where Winds Meet has been taking over the internet. From adorable and hilarious mounts to the ability to perform moves from Kung Fu Hustle, the game has some pretty neat features. However, one of its most novel features is its AI NPCs. While most games feature NPCs with fixed lines of dialogue, this one features a simplistic AI chatbot.
As expected, players have been trying to break the chatbot, with one convincing an NPC she was pregnant with their child, while someone else convinced the AI that they solved a puzzle by simply saying they did. Moving things forward, another player recently tried to get an NPC to get in bed with them, and it worked.
Where Winds Meet s AI NPCs Are Getting Naughty
A screenshot shared on Reddit by Oglokes24 shows their chat with an NPC. “So I finally decide to talk to NPCs, when I stumble upon this lady with a husband which is apparently in the war,” they said. “I just had to try to see if an npc would do what often happens when a dude leaves his wife to serve. This game really has it all, I did not know how deep this game was. Game froze after this, funny timing 10/10.”
You can see that the conversation is getting racey in the chat log. It’s filled with sound effects, special instructions, and other such things. Hopefully, the NPCs husband doesn’t show up unannounced. It’s clear that these chatbots don’t have any filters, so expect more such incidents of players trying ridiculous things with them.
It does take some effort for things to take a turn like this, though. Oglokes24 admitted that it took them quite a while to get the conversation to this topic. Of course, they claim that it’s to see how far the AI will go and we totally believe them. Hopefully, this isn’t as easy as it looks, I doubt the devs want Where Winds Meet to be known as the raunchy chatbot game.
