Antiques in Where Winds Meet play a subtle yet meaningful role in shaping the game’s vibrant landscape. Scattered across towns and hidden in underground caverns, finding these artifacts rewards players with XP, currency, and knowledge of the world around them.
Collecting them encourages exploration of the different regions of the map, adding another layer to a game already rich in lore and quests. While not easy to find, it’s worth taking the time to thoroughly check the areas around you for another piece of the Where Winds Meet puzzle.
How To Locate Antiques
Antiques in Where Winds Meet come in many different forms, from handkerchiefs to armor, and can be tracked from the different region menus in your journal. These objects unlock the game’s lore and can eventually be used to create unique cosmetics.
If you locate one of these antiques, but it does not register as such, this is because you haven’t progressed far enough through the main storyline of the game. An item can be in your bag for a long time before it is registered as an antique.
Northwest of the Source of Still Waters Boundary Stone in Blissful Retreat. You will come across this antique while progressing through the main storyline. They are underground beneath the Wine Tower.
North from the Blissful Retreat Boundary Stone and close in area to the Old Bracers. There is a small house to the left with a chest containing one of the bracers.
The second Artisan Bracer can be found west of the Stonewash Strand Boundary Stone in another house within the area surrounded by water.
Northeast of the Evercare Clinic, within the house at the end of the road. The Wing is in the chest on the right. To complete the collection, check behind the tree on the path near the house.
When you’ve progressed in the main storyline enough, you will be able to use fire arrows to burn the vines over the well behind the Evercare Clinic. Move through the underground area until you reach a big chamber. On the right-hand side will be a small box/chest containing the artifact.
South of the Blissful Retreat Boundary Stone, within the building, the handkerchief will be found within a chest. After collecting it, travel to Peace Bell Tower from the Moonveil Peak Boundary Stone and investigate the six areas as you climb.
After investigating the area, speak to the elderly man outside the tower. Choose the Two Heroes dialogue option twice to complete the antique collection.
Northwest of the Brewery Backyard Boundary Stone and near the Peddler Shop, there is a chest near the merchant containing the pendant itself. After collecting it, move to the lower section of the area and speak to Auntie Tian. Exhaust her dialogue options, and the collection will be complete.
Located directly east of the Deer Pond Boundary Stone is a building with a corpse. Upstairs from this corpse is the room containing the bow. Carry on in this location to locate the next antique.
Located inside a chest in the Evercare Clinic. If you have opened this chest and not received the antique, it is because you have not progressed far enough through the story. Once you do, this antique will register.
Also located at the Evercare Clinic, this antique is upstairs in a chest, straight ahead of the ladder. After opening the chest, go down the well outside and move through the underground area, moving lower and lower. Once you reach a room with a chest on the right side, check the shelves and investigate the scroll.
