The Flickering Flames event is officially live in Arc Raiders, so it’s time to brave the freezing weather and collect some resources to earn a bunch of new cosmetics. Similar to the Expedition, players will need to hunt for a variety of random materials that need to be donated, including the newly introduced Candleberries.
One of the items you’ll need to complete step four is the Coffee Pot. Almost certainly a material you’ve basically ignored until now, you’ll need two of them to progress further in the Flickering Flames project. Here’s everything you need to know about where to find the Coffee Pots.
Where To Find Coffee Pots
When it comes to finding Coffee Pots, you’ll want to look at any location designated with Residential-themed loot. This is easily identified by the circular icon of a person over the name of the point of interest on your map. My favorite spots to hunt for Coffee Pots are:
Village on The Blue Gate
Out of these three spots, the Village is definitely the best location for finding any type of Residential material, such as Coffee Pots. This is due to the sheer density of buildings and apartments you can enter and loot. Specifically, there are a lot of kitchens which is where you’ll have the highest chance of actually finding a Coffee Pot in a cabinet or lying around in the open.
I recommend sticking to the northern portion of the Village, as this is mostly made up of actual homes, which often have a larger number of lootable containers, while the southern portion has a lot more businesses.
Another location that’s popular for finding materials such as Coffee Pots is the Grandioso Apartments on Buried City. Located in the southwest corner of the map, these large structures have quite a lot of individual rooms and, most importantly, kitchens that you can scavenge in.
Buried City, in general, is good for finding Residential items, but you want to try to look for any place with a lot of kitchens, since these typically have 2–3 lootable drawers or cabinets each. That being said, the row of red lockers found both in the Hospital and Red Tower also has a strong chance of providing a lot of trinkets.
Finally, a more obscure spot is the Cafeteria on Stella Montis. While not a major point of interest, this smaller location is fantastic for finding any food or cooking-themed materials. I’ve had a surprising amount of luck locating Coffee Pots here, and this is actually where I found both of mine for my own Flickering Flames project.

Just remember, Stella Montis is very PvP-focused, so be prepared to either get into fights often or skulk around to avoid players. I do recommend going into Stella Montis with an Augment equipped, since this lets you put the Coffee Pot in your Safe Pocket to ensure you don’t lose it if you’re killed!
Unfortunately, the Coffee Pot cannot be bought or recycled from anything, so you’re going to need to find this item the old-fashioned way!
