Aside from your typical adventures in Where Winds Meet, you’ll be able to explore a wide variety of benefits based on the objectives you complete during each season. With the battle pass, you can unlock even more rewards no matter which tier you’re on.
We’ll break down each battle pass tier and the potential rewards, as well as whether or not the battle pass is worth the investment. This optional feature is a great benefit for avid players, but even casual wanderers can enjoy the freebies they receive for just exploring the jianghu and logging in every day after server reset time.
How Much Is the Battle Pass?
The battle pass is an optional feature that is free to all players, however, there are additional benefits you can unlock by spending real money to purchase a pass. The battle pass can be experienced in one of three ways:
Character customisation is trickier and more flexible that it might initially seem in Where Winds Meet! Here’s how to get dyes.
The Free Battle Pass. This version is available once you complete the first chapter of the main quest, and will continue to be available from then on. This pass only unlocks the top row of rewards when in the overall menu.
The Elite Battle Pass. This version of the battle pass includes everything in the free tier, as well as access to the portable merchant, increased inventory and medicine capacity, and the second row of rewards from the battle pass. It costs $9.99USD.
The Collection Battle Pass. This is the ultimate way to experience the battle pass, as you get additional rewards at purchase, a ten-level boost to your battle pass level, increased inventory and medicine limites on top of the Elite Battle Pass benefits, and you can unlock all the rewards from the battle pass. This costs $19.99USD.
It’s a good idea to wait on purchasing the battle pass until you’re sure you can claim the rewards you want, as you can retroactively collect items you unlocked at a previous level when you purchase a higher tier battle pass.
Battle Pass Missions
To earn points towards the next level in the battle pass, you’ll need to complete different objectives that track your progress. They’re broken up into three categories:
Daily Battle Pass Quests. These are goals that can be achieved every day, like logging in and spending your energy on clearing outposts.
Weekly Battle Pass Quests. These are more difficult objectives, like spending large amounts of energy, completing weekly bosses, etc.
Per Period Battle Pass Quests. These are goals that can only be completed once per season, which lasts about a month and a half. These are long-term objectives, like greatly increasing your exploration in a region, completing main story quests, expanding your compendium, etc.
Objectives may need to be completed in a particular mode, be it solo or online, so double-check what’s required to claim your rewards! Be sure to collect everything you can before logging off so that you don’t lose any points when the server resets.
Battle Pass Shop
As you earn rewards in the battle pass, you’ll earn special points that can be exchanged in the Battle Pass Shop menu for exclusive rewards, like decorations and dyes for your gear. These battle pass tokens are only obtainable from the upper levels of rewards, beyond level 51, so think of them like bonuses you can redeem for new poses and decorations for your profile.
