The world of Where Winds Meet is vibrant and vast, an open-world adventure RPG that blends wuxia fantasy and historical drama. Players wander through the landscape, choosing the type of character and warrior they intend to be, solving mysteries and puzzles, helping people, and fighting enemies determined to end their journey.
Wayfarers, dotted across the map in different regions, help uncover and shape the world of the game, allowing players to visit more areas and discover their secrets. While there aren’t many, finding Wayfarers is vital in expanding the experience of Where Winds Meet.
Qinghe Wayfarer Locations
There are three Wayfarers in the first region of the game. Below are their locations and the best way to access them.
Found near Bamboo Abode, this is the first Wayfarer you will encounter when starting the game. He will give you the first fragment of the map and information to use when coming across other Wayfarers.
During Chapter 1, you will journey to Heaven’s Pier and a long bridge over the water. The Moonveil Mountain Wayfarer will be on a rock by the water and will provide you with another fragment of the map.
The final Wayfarer for Qinghe is located near the Halo Peak Courier Post at a campfire. A good way to reach him is to use the Lightness Skill to scale the mountain.
When you venture to the next region of the map, there will be four new Wayfarers to find and more map fragments to uncover. Use the information below to discover them.
Found looking down into the city from up on the walls.
This Wayfarer is best found when entering the city via the South Gate and turning right. Travel up the stairs and speak to him to get the city map.
To find the Granary of Plenty Wayfarer, head to the area just southeast of the main city. You will know you are in the correct location when you see piles of grain and a raised wooden area.
The Wayfarer will be on this wooden platform.
Southwest of the city center and past the Imperial Gardens is the way to Jadewood Court and the Wayfarer. To reach the area is a rope elevator, and the Wayfarer will be found there.
If you try to access this area of the map too early (or if it is not yet active), you will be transported back to the main section of Kaifeng and told to keep adventuring before trying to discover it.
Once accessible, entering the area from the east and following the long ridge-like path is the best way to find this Wayfarer.
Players have found accessing Roaring Sands has been difficult; this could be due to your character’s level. Be sure to complete side quests as well as focus on the main storyline to level yourself for when the area is ready to be discovered.
