How To Complete The March Of The Dead Lost Chapter Quest In Where Winds Meet

Where Winds Meet has dozens of side quests to discover, each exploring a different corner of the Jianghu. Underneath Kaifeng City, or perhaps within the city itself, lies the Ghost Market, a mysterious place where spectral soldiers roam, and a poisonous mist permeates the air.

Within the Ghost Market, you can find the Lost Chapter quest March of the Dead. Below, we’ll show you how to start this quest, as well as how to get all three items needed to complete it.

How To Start March Of The Dead

To start March of the Dead, you’ll need to enter the Ghost Market. There are a few ways to do this, but the simplest is to start the Bounty Trouble Lost Chapter. You can start this quest at Riverside Station in Moonveil Mountain, Qinghe.

Follow along Bounty Trouble until you’re knocked unconscious and wake up in the Ghost Market. You don’t need to complete Bounty Trouble to continue on to March of the Dead.

Within the Ghost Market, you will be constantly afflicted with Nether Mist, which drains your health over time. To remove this debuff, stand next to any of the glowing green lanterns around the area.

When you first appear in the Ghost Market, speak to the Elder, who will tell you to gather the Iron Spear, Mountain Crest, and Battle Helmet. To do this, follow the green lanterns down each path, which ends in a chest containing the item. Here’s where they’re located.

Turn right from the Elder, then follow the lanterns to the north, then across a small pond.

Turn left from the Elder, then turn right, following the lanterns through a group of spectral soldiers, then take a slight left to find the chest.

Take the left path from the Elder, then another left further down the street. Round the corner, going up the stairs, then find the chest at the end of the path.

Once you’ve obtained all three items, return to the Elder at the entrance to the Ghost Market and turn them in. In exchange, you’ll receive the Ghost Armor; equip this to prevent the spectral soldiers from attacking you.

Now, follow the procession of spectral soldiers as they move toward the west and then south, eventually leading to a door. Open the door, then talk to Liu Changsheng once more, who will ask you to kill the master of the clan, Zhu Yousheng.

This miniboss has some powerful attacks, but a few accurately timed parries and well-placed attacks should make short work of him. Once the boss is defeated, return to Liu Changsheng to complete the quest.

This will lift the Nether Mist in the Ghost Market, allowing you to freely explore the area. Completing March of the Dead also unlocks a number of shops and other activities in the area.
