Avengers: Doomsday Teaser Leaks, Reveals Captain America Will Return

The first teaser for Avengers: Doomsday has apparently leaked and reveals that Steave Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America will return for the movie. We feel like we should mention that the quality of the video is quite bad and this obscures any hints about if it’s AI-generated. However, the video is reportedly being hit with DMCA strikes, suggesting it may be the real thing.
While we don’t know much about Doomsday as of yet, we do know that a number of Marvel properties will be coming together, including The Fantastic Four and 20th Century Fox’s X-Men. Robert Downey Jr. will be playing Doctor Doom, but there’s not much else we know. If this teaser is legitimate, it looks like the MCU is bringing back many of the original Avengers.
Captain America Will Appear In Avengers: Doomsday
The leaks are being taken down from YouTube and Reddit almost as fast as they are going up, but I did manage to catch it. The teaser starts off with someone parking a motorcycle and putting down their helmet. We then get a shot of Chris Evans’s Steve Rogers walking into the house he shared with Peggy Carter from the post-credits scene of Avengers: Endgame.
The video quality is quite terrible, but he can be seen folding and putting away his Cap[tain America suit, after which the shot cuts to him cradling a baby. That’s right, we’ve got Cap Jr.! Unfortunately for his new life, the screen goes black, revealing the words, “Steve Rogers will return in Avengers Doomsday”. There’s one more shot of a location after that, but I couldn’t recognise what it was.
We know that there will be four teasers for Avengers: Doomsday, with any one of them playing before screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash. While this one is for Captain America, the others will revolve around Thor, Doctor Doom, and the final one will be a more general teaser.
Fans of the original Avengers cast will be thrilled to see Captain America returning, but something about the teaser gives me a bad feeling about his fate.
I also want to reiterate that there’s a chance that this teaser was made using AI, and the low quality is hiding the proof. Hopefully, this is not the case, and we get to see Cap back in action.
