Arc Raiders Players Have A Simple Way To Complete The Throw Snowballs At Rocketeers Trial

Fighting Arcs in Arc Raiders is tough enough already, especially the Rocketeers that can blast you from a distance. It doesn’t matter what weapon you have, these drones are hard to hit and can take you out with one good hit. Despite this, Embark felt it would be fun to make players hit them with snowballs for the latest weekly trial.
The game’s Winter Snap update has covered the topside with snow, giving raiders the chance to joyously toss snowballs at each other. However, the latest weekly challenge tasks you with strowing snowballs at Rocketeers; not just one or two, but at least 16 snowballs, depending on when you attempt the trial. It goes without saying that this has proven to be difficult for many players, but, as always, the raiders have found a couple of tricks to it.
How To Throw Snowballs At Rocketeers In Arc Raiders
If you’re having a hard time completing this challenge in the traditional manner, the Arc Raiders community has devised a couple of tricks to make it easier. The first one, showcased by Vipu2 on Reddit, involves a bit of skill and platforming, essentially requiring you to load up your inventory with snowballs, then use your snap hook to mount a Rocketeer and unload snowballs on it.
This method might sound easy, but getting so close to a Rocketeer is not as easy as you think. Even using the snap hook to mount it might require a few tries, giving the Arc plenty of time to circle around you and unleash its arsenal. The second method requires a bit more work, but is safer and doesn’t require too much skill. Except, perhaps, a good throwing arm.

Suggested by nrthlu, this method requires you to load up on snowballs at the Dam Battlegrounds. They suggested doing so at the bottom left portion of the map, next to water towers. There’s also a hatch nearby, so bring along a key for a quick escape. Then, head on over to the Buried City, along with a handful of Showstoppers, and make your way to the top of the hospital.
The next step is to bait a Rocketeer by shooting at it and then hitting it with showstoppers until it crashes onto the roof. Then it’s simply a matter of unloading all your snowballs on the rocketeer. If you happen to run out, there are three piles of snow on the hospital roof itself. The hard part will be hitting the drone with the showstoppers, but the rest is a piece of cake.
