When you first start playing Arc Raiders, you’ll likely get overwhelmed by looking at the sheer amount of buildings and loot spots on each map. It’ll be quite difficult to differentiate between different parts of any map at the start, but if you take part in the quests, this aspect of the game will get a lot easier.
This is mainly because different quests like A Symbol Of Unification take you to various parts of each map while giving you the lore behind them. This can also be a good way to find hidden weapon crate locations where you can get good blueprints without too much competition from other players.
How To Reach Formicai Outpost
When you first take on A Symbol Of Unification quest, it’ll ask you to reach the Formicai Outpost region of Dam Battlegrounds. You can spot this region in the southern part of the Formicai Hills on the map once you zoom in fully. You’ll have to climb a steep hill to get here, but you’ll be able to spot the outpost up top from far away.
Once you get close, you’ll see various paths letting you get up to it easily. However, since this area is quite dense, it’s important to keep a lookout for other raiders. Thankfully, it’s not a very contested area, so any raider you find will likely be willing to be friends with you.
How To Find And Hoist The Flag
After getting on top of the hill, you can enter the Formicai outpost from the slim and dark hallway. Once you get in, you’ll see a bed on the right side with a back on top of it. This bag will have a yellow interaction icon, and you’ll get the flag after interacting with it.
After receiving the flag, head to the circular open area of this outpost and go to the outside part from the doorway in front of the hallway you just came from. As soon as you go out, you’ll see an interaction symbol on the pole to your left where you can hoist the flag and finish this quest. Once that’s done, head back to Speranza to get the Aviator outfit with some other rewards.
