Collin is a Guides Staff Writer at TheGamer who has been writing guides for nearly ten years. He is also a professional game/level designer. More importantly, he’s still waiting for a new Ape Escape game to release.

In Arc Raiders, there’s a lot to do while you’re exploring the dangerous wasteland. Between looting, completing quests, and fighting other players, there are quite a few ways to earn some high-tier loot and rewards.

One way that is sometimes overlooked is through completing your weekly Trials, which rewards you with a guaranteed Epic-tier item if you achieve three stars in any of the five challenges. In addition, you can earn several cosmetics as you climb the ranks, making these trials absolutely worth your time.

Here’s a rundown of how to get three stars for all the Week 5 Trials in Arc Raiders.

Keep in mind you need to actually extract for the progress you’ve made to count! Also, Trials only care about your best score during a single raid; none of this is cumulative!

Unsurprisingly, to complete this trial you need to damage or destroy Rocketeers. To hit three stars, you need to fully destroy one Rocketeer and then damage a second one to about half health while in either a Night Raid or Electromagnetic Storm. To be safe, I do recommend just destroying two Rocketeers as this will guarantee you actually hit the three-star threshold and remove any guesswork about whether you’ve done enough damage.

I suggest completing this on Dam Battlegrounds, as two Rocketeer spawn fairly close to one another in the northwestern part of the map. One has a chance to appear right by the North Complex Elevator, with another just south of the Hydroponic Dome Complex. You can also find a Rocketeer lurking around Testing Annex if you’re struggling to find one to destroy.

To achieve this, I brought in three Wolfpack Grenades and an Anvil. Two well-placed Wolfpack grenades are enough to instantly kill any Rocketeer, and the third one is to weaken the hell out of the second Rocketeer. The Anvil is mainly there to help finish off this foe in case the Wolfpack Grenades don’t do the job for whatever reason.

Probably the most annoying of this week’s Trials, you will need to download data during the Hidden Bunker event in Spaceport. This means you need to not only complete the antenna portion of this event, but also make it into the bunker and retrieve the data via the computers in the bunker.

If you’ve never done the Hidden Bunker event, we have a full walkthrough you can use to finish it. But the short version is, interact with the antennas marked on your map in each corner of Spaceport, go to the hidden bunker in the southwest, start a download on the computer, wait until it’s done, and then retrieve the data.

There are eight computers in total that you can download data from, but you only need to do it on a minimum of five. Now, this is way easier said than done, as the finite number of computers means you may be fighting other players over who gets to actually retrieve the data.

I strongly recommend doing this in Solos, as people are generally more friendly and less prone to just blasting anyone they see. While there is safety in numbers, Trios is almost always a bloodbath — especially during this event.

Search First Wave Husks Trial

For this Trial, you will need to search the remains of the breachable ARC enemies that are scattered throughout any map. This includes the large barons that are roughly the size of a Queen, the grey, cylindrical-shaped ARC that is about as big as a Rocketeer, and the Wasp-sized remains.

All of these need to be breached and searched to count towards your Trial, with the amount of experience you earn determined by the size of the husk you are looting. While you always want to try and find a baron, it’s honestly easier to hit a bunch of small and medium-sized husks for this Trial.

I strongly recommend completing it at The Blue Gate. Specifically, on the southeastern side of the map (shown above), between the Ancient Fort and Warehouse Complex. This place is a graveyard of first-wave husks and I was able to achieve three stars in my Trial, during the day, just by running around this area and looting all the ARC remains.

Keep in mind, this area is pretty exposed, so there is some real risk of just standing out in the open and breaching these husks. Because of this, I recommend completing this Trial on a free kit, since there’s no real loss if you die, and you don’t need to actually bring anything in to make completing this easier.

To complete the Trial during the day, I hit about 8-10 first-wave husks of varying size. Obviously, this number will be less if you do it at night or during an electromagnetic storm, but it’s entirely possible to easily clear it during the day.

Damage Snitches Trial

Another fairly self-explanatory Trial, all you need to do in this one is destroy or damage Snitches. Similar to Rocketeers, I really recommend completing this during a Night Raid or Electromagnetic Storm, as it will drastically reduce the number of Snitches you need to kill. You will want to destroy between 7–8 Snitches, depending on whether you’re Solo or the only one shooting them.

My map of choice for this is Spaceport on the roof of the Departure Building. This gives you a great line of sight on multiple Snitch routes and is easily defendable since there are only a couple of ways up. The roof of the Hospital or Grandioso Apartments is also a great alternative on Buried City.

As for weapons, I suggest either Ferro, Renegade, or Anvil. These provide both enough range and stopping power to easily shoot down Snitches. Remember, the white panels on their bodies are their weak points, so always aim for those to quickly kill them.

Additionally, I suggest bringing in some Lure Grenades just in case the Snitch calls in reinforcements before you can kill it!

This Trial is pretty straightforward, if a bit wonky at times. Essentially, you just need to deal enough damage (or destroy) ground-based Arc. This includes Fireballs, Poppers, Ticks, the Queen, the Matriarch, Leapers, Bastion, and Bombardiers. You will want to solely focus on Bastions and Bombardiers, as these net the best number of points and are much more consistent than damaging the Queen or Matriarch.

The Blue Gate during a Night Raid or Electromagnetic Storm is what I did, as you can almost always find a Bastion in the Tunnels north of Checkpoint and a Bombadardier south of Village. If there is no Matriarch or Queen, another Bastion may spawn in the center of the map as well. Destroying at least two of these at night will give you enough points to cross the three-star threshold.

Similar to the Rocketeer, you will want to load up on Wolfpack grenades if you can. 2–3 of these should almost instantly kill either of these enemies. Alternatively, if you have money to spend, you can always purchase a Hullcracker for 30k and use that to easily destroy these enemies.

Leapers are a decent alternative, but they won’t net you nearly as many points as the previously mentioned ARC. Blaze Grenades are your best friends for killing them, especially if you can get one to stand in the fire for more than a couple of seconds. If worse comes to worst, you can always go around killing Fireballs and Poppers, but this isn’t a reliable method and should only be used to pad your score if necessary.
