Appearing in Where Winds Meet, adorable, smartly dressed Meow Meows are magical little cats who give you quests and puzzles in exchange for rewards and, eventually, access to their own Meow Meow store. Ranging from logic-based puzzles to testing your physical martial arts skills, these quests keep you on your toes and are scattered throughout the world.
Here are all the currently active reward codes in Where Winds Meet and how to redeem them.
As well as rewards and treasure, you’ll also be accepted into the Meow Meow Temple and gain access to unique treasures. There are 31 Meow Meow quests to complete in the Qinghe area of the map, and we have all their locations below.
How To Complete The Will-O -The-Wisp Collection
The ‘Will-o’-the-Wisp Collection’ is the largest part of the Meow Meow quest line and involves running through a section of the map collecting blue, fiery looking Wisps. You’ll have a countdown/timeframe to collect the Wisps in and sometimes there will be aspects of parkour involved. However, you’ll mostly have to rely on being quick and accurate.
You don’t need to physically collect Wisps — running through one will add them to your total. There are 14 Meow Meow Wisp locations in Qingh.
Don’t worry if you miss a Wisp. There are more Wisps than necessary on the route, so you won’t need to make a U-turn if one is accidentally skipped.
The second-largest type of quest given by Meow Meows are puzzles and these can range in difficulty and often utilize a skill you will hopefully have unlocked before starting. There are 11 Meow Meow puzzles throughout the Qinghe section of the map, and you’ll know the difference straight away because, unlike the bamboo or Wisp quests, you won’t be given a task by the cat. It will be for you to figure out what needs doing to make the cat happy.
Keep an eye out for the ‘investigate’ prompt. There is usually a very obvious clue you won’t want to miss.
Opposite the statues is the last one that needs picking up and moving into the empty spot.
Collect fireflies around the puzzle area to unlock and use the Mystic Skill ‘Glow of Fireflies’ on the sparkly plants to make them grow.
Investigate each statue, and it will explain what attack to use to make the statues face the center.
You may not have the Shadow Step ability equipped, make sure you check your Talents to unlock it.
If you haven’t unlocked this skill, find Yan Qiren in the Stonewash Strand area. He is a statue and after completing his side quest, the Meridian Touch skill will unlock.
Turn off the lamp that is currently on and switch on the lamp at the back of the room which is off.
Find the mini-statues and place them in front of the larger ones with lit fires.
Use the skill Celestial Seize to remove the poisonous plants and rescue the Herb Gatherer.
Don’t attempt to remove the plants by hand — you will get three/four plants in before dying. Unlock Celestial Seize via the side quest Foul Play in Heaven’s Pier.
If you don’t have one in your inventory, you can fish for one or buy one from the man opposite the cat.
Similar to the ‘Will-o’-the-Wisp Collection’ quests, to complete the ‘Unstoppable Bamboocut’ Meow Meow tasks, you’ll be given a specific number of bamboo shoots to cut down on a timeframe. When the countdown starts, hack and slash your way through the bamboo and if it falls, it will be added to your overall total.
There isn’t much skill needed for these quests as being frenzied is often the quickest way to chop down the needed amount of bamboo. There are four ‘Unstoppable Bamboocut’ quests in the Qinghe section of the map.
If you fail to complete a Meow Meow quest on your first attempt, don’t worry, you have unlimited tries.
Just when you think you know what to expect from your Meow Meow guide, one will suddenly disappear on you. When interacting with these cats, they will quickly run off, and you’ll need to follow them in a flash to catch up. When you pass through the white, smoky circle that appears, you’ll be propelled forward and will be in chase.

There are two Cat Chase quests in Qinghe and these are arguably the most difficult of the Meow Meow puzzles, as you’ll need to stay on target and catch the cat in the allotted time.
You’ll need to use one of the four Lightness Skills to fly and catch the cat. Be sure to follow the paw print.

There are puzzles missing, for example the one between Floral Expanse Beyond and Finesteed Hamlet,
that says: “Southward a dozen paces, a spirit at the altar appears.”
