Collin is a Guides Staff Writer at TheGamer who has been writing guides for nearly ten years. He is also a professional game/level designer. More importantly, he’s still waiting for a new Ape Escape game to release.

Another week in Arc Raiders means another set of Trials for players to complete to earn some easy loot. While this feature can easily be overlooked by some, earning three stars in a Trial will always net you a guaranteed Epic item. Typically, this is either a blueprint, a weapon, a shield, or a backpack, which is quite helpful if you’re low on resources.

Thankfully, this week’s Trials are fairly simple, with more than half of them just requiring you to damage specific types of enemies. However, the other two can be a little tricky if you don’t know where to look for them.

Here’s what you need to know to get three stars in Week 6 Trials in Arc Raiders!

Damage Hornets Trial

For this challenge, you need to damage and destroy enough Hornets to hit three stars. I recommend doing this on either Spaceport or Buried City during a Night Raid or Electromagnetic Storm. I personally like going to the roof of either the Arrival or Departure Building on Spaceport, as these give you long lines of sight to all the flying patrols.

You will need to destroy between 6–7 Hornets during a Night Raid to complete this Trial. Because of this, you will want to use a hard-hitting weapon that can easily take down a Hornet in a few well-placed shots. I recommend using the Ferro, Anvil, or Renegade for this trial, as they can accurately and quickly kill a Hornet.

Additionally, you can also shoot Snitches (or throw a Snitch Scanner) to forcibly summon two Wasps and a Hornet. This method is a little riskier since you’ll be calling in a decent amount of ARC if you’re solo, but it’s a great way to speed up the process of finding Hornets. Remember, their weak points are the rotators, and destroying two of them should cause it to crash.

This Trial is going to be the only one that’s a bit of a headache, since it requires you to deliver those large crates to their specific receptacles. This can be crates for puzzles like the Ancient Fort, using them to open doors in Stella Montis, or just delivering them to Field Depots. The latter is what you will want to focus on, as it will take 4 crates delivered during a Night Raid to even hit 4,000 XP.

Because of this, I suggest trying to do this during the Hidden Bunker event at Spaceport. Not just because you’ll get double XP, but due to the 45-minute timer. The increased time can make a big difference, since trying to actually find the crates is where you will spend most of your time. I recommend just running the wall of Spaceport and looking around each of the Field Depots since the crates don’t spawn to far away from them!

You can see the location of all the Field Depots and crates in the map above!

Damage Rocketeers, Leapers, or Bastions Trial

To complete this Trial, you need to destroy or damage any combination of these enemies during a single raid. Unsurprisingly, completing this Trial in a Night Raid is the best since one enemy will reward you with just a little over 2,000 XP. Meaning you only need to kill two of these enemies to earn three stars if that’s all you’re going for.

I recommend either The Blue Gate or Dam Battlegrounds for this, as these maps feature an abundance of higher-tier enemies, making the task much easier to complete. On The Blue Gate, I recommend sticking to the northern portion of the map around Reinforced Reception, Headhouse, and Checkpoint.

You can easily find a nice mix of these three enemies here, with a Bastion almost always spawning in the tunnels north of Checkpoint and a Leaper or Rocketeer spawning outside Reinforced Reception. If you want to do this on Dam Battlegrounds, stick to the area around Testing Annex or Hydroponic Dome Complex.

Unsurprisingly, the Hullcracker and Wolfpack Grenades are the ideal tools to take them down, but if you’re broke, bring Heavy ammo weapons like the Ferro or Anvil. Specifically, use Blaze Grenades on Leapers, destroy the fans on Rocketeers, and damage the yellow joints on the legs of the Bastion so you can get behind it to blow up the yellow core.

Destroy Pops Trial

The easiest of this week’s Trials, you will just need to destroy around 7 Pops during an Electromagnetic Storm or Night Raid. The two best maps to do this on are Buried City and Stella Montis. The former has very predictable Pop spawns, as they will appear in the tunnels leading down to the different subway stations. Each side of the subway usually has around 2–3 Pops, meaning you can easily clear this Trial by clearing out three subway platforms.

Alternatively, Stella Montis could be a great option since the interior layout of this map is filled with Pops. While Stella Montis can be more dangerous at Night due to PvP-oriented players, I managed to clear this challenge by just running around the level. Specifically, you will want to concentrate your search on Assembly, Medical Research, and the Lobby.

Pops die extremely quickly, but if they are blown up by other means, such as a Fireball’s flames, it won’t count towards your progress. Always prioritize them first, since they are volatile and can easily die before you manage to shoot them.

Open ARC Probes

For the final Trial, you will need to open 3 ARC Probes during a Night Raid (6 during the day) and successfully leave the map. These are the slender, silver tubes that land and are embedded in the ground. You can tell you’re near one by its distinctive beeping and the often bright blue or yellow light at the top. Additionally, you will want to look for the black plumes of smoke in the air, as that can be a big indicator of where one crashed.

Keep in mind, while the Trial says “Open” Probes, you can actually just search any that has already been breached, and it will still count towards your progress!

Any of the maps (not Stella Montis) at Night are good options for this, but I found Spaceport to be the best and easiest for finding probes. Getting up onto the tall perimeter wall gives you a great line of sight for spotting the smoke clouds around destroyed probes. Additionally, just running around the perimeter of the wall during an Electromagnetic Storm let me find all three in less than 4 minutes!
