In the dangerous world of Arc Raiders, you will need to scavenge for pretty much everything and anything that isn’t nailed down. From guns to meds to bits and bobs, almost everything has some use in this game.
One of these is the Power Cable, which is needed to upgrade your Gear Bench from Level 2 to 3. While certainly not the most elusive object in Arc Raiders, finding them can be a bit tricky if you don’t know where to look. Here’s where to hunt for Power Cables if you’re in desperate need of them.
Where To Find Power Cables
When it comes to finding Power Cables, you will want to focus your search on any location with a lot of lootable computers. Unsurprisingly, this item is found both in and around these lootable containers, which can help you narrow down your search. Some of the best places to find Power Cables are:
Departure Building and Arrival Building in Spaceport
Of these listed locations, I have had the most success both when looking for them and testing for this guide in Spaceport. Both the Departure and Arrival Buildings have a plethora of lootable computers or computer-adjacent containers that are worth searching in. There’s a solid density of loot, and each building has multiple floors, which means there are a lot of places to look for Power Cables.
These buildings also have pretty minimal ARC presence outside some Ticks, the occasional Turret, and some Pops.
Alternatively, Space Travel in Buried City is another great spot if you’re specifically looking for this material. There are a lot of offices you can rummage around in, almost all of which have computers you can look inside. While this location is a little more dangerous than the previously mentioned points of interest, it’s a solid option since it has a decent amount of loot spread out across all the different floors.
Finally, Research and Administration in Dam Battlegrounds is another solid spot, but this comes at the cost of being exceptionally dangerous — especially in duos and trios. Perhaps the hottest PvP spot on the map, you will almost always find people fighting here due to the high-tier loot and close proximity to the Control Tower locked room.
None of this means you shouldn’t loot here, but it’s important to understand what you’re getting into.
Remember, Power Cables cannot be purchased or crafted, so if you want three to upgrade your Gear Bench, you’ll need to get them the old-fashioned way. Because of this, I suggest not hunting these down on a Free Kit, as having a Safe Pocket will ensure that you can still claim them even if you’re filled with lead!
