Collin is a Guides Staff Writer at TheGamer who has been writing guides for nearly ten years. He is also a professional game/level designer. More importantly, he’s still waiting for a new Ape Escape game to release.

It’s another week, which means there’s a new set of Trials to complete in Arc Raiders. Largely focusing on blasting all types of bots, this week is heavily focused on destroying a variety of different types of ARC.

Except for one, most of this week’s Trials are supremely easy to get three stars in. Here’s everything you need to know so you can nab some free Epic-tier loot.

With the exception of the final trial, it is recommended that you complete all of these during Night, Hidden Bunker, or Electromagnetic Storm raid events. These offer double XP, making it much easier to complete!

Destroy Ticks, Fireballs, and Pops

When it comes to killing Ticks, Fireballs, and Pops the best place in the game is Stella Montis. The confined, interior nature of the map means these foes are way more prevalent and easier to find than on other levels. Specifically, I would narrow your search to Assembly, Medical Research, and the Lobby.

All three of these locations have a very healthy supply of Pops and Fireballs, which will provide the most XP for this Trial. Ticks will net you the least amount of XP, but you can find them in greater numbers on Stella Montis. While I wouldn’t rely on them as your main source for getting three stars, you should always listen out for their distinctive noise so you can kill them

If you do want to hunt Ticks, there are a ton of them in and around the Cultural Archives!

As for what to bring, really any weapon is great for killing these enemies. This is one of those Trials you can run on a Free Loadout, as there’s minimal risk and gear necessity to get an easy three stars.

Wondering which weapons to bring into PvP while you’re topside in Arc Raiders? Here is tier list for all the guns in a PvP setting.

The only tricky Trial this week, you will need to search three Supply Drop containers to complete this Trial. For those unaware, this is the activity where you fire up a flare into the air and wait for a large, almost ARC-looking probe to descend via parachute. Available on every map but Stella Montis, I recommend doing this on either Buried City or Spaceport.

Personally, I found the former to be the best since the confined nature of the map lets you quickly check all the potential Supply Drop spawns. Plus, if you’re in a friendlier lobby, you actually don’t need to be the one calling in the Supply Drop for it to count. Just searching one another Raider called will earn progress towards this Trial.

If you’re struggling to find one, you can always climb up onto the roof of a tall building and watch for the distinctive yellow flares. The container will land around that area. Each Supply Drop will earn you 1,600 XP, meaning you’ll have to hit three different ones for this to reward you with three stars.

Damage Wasps

Another easy Trial, you will need to destroy around 8–9 Wasps to earn three stars. While Wasps can spawn on basically any map in the game, Spaceport is one of the best spots to farm them. This is because you can get onto the roof of either the Arrival or Departure Building and shoot them as they pass by on patrol.

If you’re struggling to find some Wasps, consider shooting and not destroying a Snitch. It will call in reinforcements, which always consist of two Wasps and a Hornet. This lets you quickly amass Wasp kills, instead of just waiting around for a new patrol to spawn.

As for weapons, I really like the Anvil, Renegade, or Ferro for this Trial. All of these have a great range, can easily destroy the Wasps’ weak point, the rotary fans, and are ammo-efficient.

Damage Bastions

Similar to some of the previous Trials, all you need to do for three stars is to destroy a single Bastion during a Night Raid. The best place to complete this is on Blue Gate or Stella Montis. The Bastion appears to have a guaranteed spawn on both maps, with the Bastion spawning in the tunnel north of Checkpoint on The Blue Gate and on the bottom floor of the Loading Bay on Stella Montis.

If you have the money or resources, Wolfpack Grenades and Hullcrackers are the best options for quickly killing a Bastion. It takes two Wolfpack Grenades to fully kill a Bastion, making it the safest and quickest method for killing them. If you’re broke, invest in an Anvil and a lot of Heavy ammo.

The Bastion’s major weak points are the yellow joints on the legs and the yellow core on the backside. Your strategy is to shoot a few of the legs out to impair its movement, then run behind it and blast the core before it can turn. This is a much louder, longer method of killing them, but it’s definitely possible if you’re using a weapon that fires Heavy ammo.

Damage Queens or Matriarchs

Similar to the Bastion, this is another challenge that is best completed with some of the main PvE weapons in the game. Found only during the Harvester or Matriarch events, players will need to damage and destroy this boss to earn three stars. Now this can be a bit of a challenge, since people seem way more keen on actually just killing other Raiders — especially in duos or trios.

I’ve had the most success killing these bosses in Solos, as people are generally more open to working together when it comes to taking down a boss. While looting these enemies after they die might be a bit of a bloodbath, you can always skip this part and just leave if your goal is solely getting three stars.

The Equalizer, Hullcracker, Wolfpack Grenades, and Bettina are the main options for those looking to damage these bosses and have the endgame resources for it. Alternatively, if you’re broke, the Anvil is probably your best option, even if it’s not ideal. You’ll need to bring a lot of ammo (and possibly even a second one if the gun breaks), but it should allow you to damage and help kill the boss. Just, I wouldn’t recommend doing this if you’re the only person actually fighting either of these ARC enemies.
