Where Winds Meet currently has two massive explorable regions to explore, filled with side quests, dungeons, bosses, and secrets to discover. Almost everything you do in the game will earn you experience towards your next level, which in turn unlocks new features and levels of progression.
Where Winds Meet also has timed level caps, meaning your max level will be limited until the level cap is released. While at the level cap, you’ll still gain experience, known as Stored EXP. Below, we’ll go over everything you need to know about this mechanic.
How To Get Stored EXP
Stored EXP is earned every time you gain experience points while at the level cap. Stored EXP is earned at the same rate as normal EXP, but is instead stored in a bank that can be used after you increase the level cap. The level cap is determined by your current Solo Mode Level.
You can see how much Stored EXP you have by opening the main menu and selecting the three dots above your experience bar.
Besides being called something different, Stored EXP is earned in exactly the same way as normal EXP; the only difference is when you earn it.

To use your Stored EXP, you first need to increase your Solo Mode Level to increase your level cap. This is done by performing Solo Mode Level Breakthrough. Higher levels of Breakthrough will require your account to have been active for a certain number of days, so there is a bit of time-gating involved.
Once you’ve increased your Solo Mode Level, every time you earn EXP, you’ll also gain 50 percent of it as a bonus from your Stored EXP, until you’ve used up all your Stored EXP.

For example, if you earn 1,000 EXP, you’ll gain an additional 500 EXP from your Stored EXP reserves, and this will continue until you don’t have any Stored EXP left.
So, your Stored EXP doesn’t get added to your level all at once; instead, it’s distributed out as you continue to earn EXP by playing content.
