Adventuring alone isn’t the only way to experience Where Winds Meet, as there are plenty of fellow wanderers to encounter in the jianghu. Working together is the best way to get the most out of every week in-game, regardless of your primary reason for playing, and we’ll show you how to get it done.
Joining a guild or starting your own is easy, but there’s work to be done to help it flourish. Here’s everything you need to know to get started so you can build something from the ground up or contribute to an existing group’s reserves in the jianghu.
What Is A Guild?
A guild is a group of fellow players that have teamed up to work together, whether they’re hoping to take down bosses, complete puzzles across the map, or just play minigames together. There are several types of groups with a different focus, so make sure to find one that matches your preferences.

There are several roles within a guild as well, from the guild master to the apprentices that aren’t fully-fledged members yet. Each guild is unique with a home base that every member contributes to each week, and the guild reserves are used to upgrade the amenities for everyone, including an exclusive shop!
You can leave a guild at any time, though depending on your role, there may be a cooldown before you can join another guild.
To start searching for a guild, open the guild menu and select the type of group you’re looking for. You’ll need to apply to any guild you’re interested in, so long as there is space.
Be sure to check the description of the guild for any important notes, like a Discord server link or weekly requirements!
Once you apply to a guild, you’ll either need to wait for the guild master’s approval or you’ll be added immediately to the group. From there, you can use the guild menu to view your weekly progress, collect bonuses, and visit the base of operations.
How To Create A Guild
If you can’t find a guild you like, or you’d prefer to take on the role of Guild Master yourself, you can start your own guild for 300 Echo Jade. When you do, you’ll get to name the guild and design the banner that will attract your future recruits.
When you’re in charge of the guild, the daily maintenance fee (which scales with the size of your guild) comes out of your personal funds. After seven days of insufficient funds, the guild will automatically disband, so be sure to keep your reserves well-stocked with coins!
What To Do In A Guild
In a guild, you can visit the base to spend time with other members. Here, you can play minigames together, enjoy the baths, visit the shop, and donate materials to the caravan for cargo shipments. Additionally, you can take on weekly challenges to increase the guild rankings and earn more rewards as a group.

Upgrading your amenities means that everyone benefits from your efforts, so unlocking more rewards is tied to teamwork. There are several additions you can unlock for your guild:
Hall of Heroes. This room increases the rate at which you obtain treasure tokens for all members of the guild. Upgrading this enables your guild members to purchase more items more often from the exclusive guild shop.
The Cargo Warehouse. This room increases the maximum guild fund that can be stored. Initially, you’ll start out with a cap of 800,000 coins, and as your guild grows, you’ll want to upgrade this area to prevent funds from overflowing.
Hall of Wonders. This room improves the martial arts teaching facility on campus, giving your guild members a chance to practice and learn new moves.
The Guild Chamber. This upgrade impacts the maximum number of members allowed into the guild, as well as the number of apprentices. Increasing this allows you to welcome more people, which means more money.
Meeting weekly quotas within the guild will grant each member new rewards, so it’s important to do your part in a guild. If you don’t, the guild master may see fit to remove you from the premises and revoke your membership altogether.
Successful team work will raise your guild level, unlocking even more that you can enjoy together. Make sure to do your part by visiting the guild base for 20 minutes each week, traveling with guild members, and donating materials so you can all enjoy an easier life in the jianghu.
