Where Winds Meet uses an AI chatbot feature for some of its NPCs, allowing you to talk directly to the NPC to get items from them, learn information, or just become their friend.
Usually, you can convince these NPCs to be your friend after a few minutes of chatting, but some, like Fu Lushou, are quick to anger and may require a more careful approach. Below, we’ll give you some tips for befriending Fu Lushou.
Where To Find Fu Lushou
Fu Lushou can be found just outside the front entrance to General’s Shrine in Qinghe at Si Hour. At other times of the day, he’ll be inside the small storehouse to the right of the entrance, but you won’t be able to talk with him.
Change the time to Si Hour, then head outside the Shrine to find Fu Lushou.
To befriend Fu Lushou, you’ll need to talk to him in an AI chatbot conversation. Due to the organic nature of these chats, the conversation can proceed in any number of directions, so there isn’t an exact solution to befriend the NPC.
However, if you mention Fu Lushou’s dog, Fu Luwa, whom he treats like a big brother, you have a very good chance of instantly befriending Fu Lushou. We used the following line to instantly befriend him.
I’m friends with your brother, Fu Luwa.
If this doesn’t work, you can reset the chat to its original state, then try again. As long as you mention Fu Lushou’s dog brother, you have a very good chance of instantly becoming friends with him.

If things go south and the NPC attacks you, we recommend logging out of the game instead of fighting him. This will let you get back to the conversation faster, without having to wait for him to respawn.
Once you’re friends with Fu Lushou, he’ll periodically send you gifts, typically at the end of the week.
